Who is Jennifer Taylor?
Jennifer Taylor, APR, is a Canadian fractional CMO, brand strategist and accredited public relations practitioner with more than 25 years of experience. She founded TaylorMade Ideas in the Okanagan Valley and works with established businesses across BC, Alberta and Canada.
She has worked with everyone from brand-new startups to $100M+ companies, and she is known for pairing senior strategy with the hands-on work that makes it happen.
APR, Accredited in Public Relations
Bachelor of Applied Arts, Radio and Television Arts, Toronto Metropolitan University
25+ years in marketing, PR, advertising and brand strategy
A career that started in radio, television and publishing
Past Vice-President, Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce
Member, Summerland Rotary Club
Radio, TV, print, and then everything else.
I started my career in radio, television and publishing, which taught me how media really works from the inside.
From there I moved into public relations, earned my APR designation, and spent years working alongside international PR firms, media outlets and ad agencies. I’ve negotiated sponsorships, planned lawn sign blitzes, pitched news stories and built digital campaigns, so I know how each piece fits together and which ones will actually move the needle.
That mix is why I started TaylorMade Ideas. Too many businesses get marketing sold off the rack: a package, a platform or a template that was never built for them. I would rather measure first, then build a plan that fits the business, the budget and the people behind it.
You work with me directly. I set the strategy, lead the people doing the work, and when a project needs hands-on help, I roll up my sleeves and do it myself.
Three ways to work together.
Fractional CMO
Senior marketing leadership, part time. Think of it as a part-time marketing director who owns the plan, the budget and the results.
Fractional CMO services →Rebranding and brand strategy
A strategy-first rebrand for businesses that have outgrown their name, look or story, from the first branding session through launch and PR.
Rebranding →Brand building
Campaigns that build a name people remember, using Connected TV, PR, sponsorships, out-of-home, search and social.
Marketing services →Rooted in the Okanagan. Working across Canada.
In the Okanagan, I meet with clients in person in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, Vernon and the South Okanagan. See how I work with Okanagan businesses.
Across BC and Alberta, I work with businesses in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Kamloops, Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer, mostly by video with in-person visits when they make sense.
Across Canada and into the U.S., I work remotely with established businesses and help Canadian brands expand south of the border.
